85-89 ECM upgrade
i saw a article in Corvette Fever about replacing the 85 ECM with a 89 because the 89 ECM has a better learning curve.
Has anybody on these forums done thi and if so
how easy is the modification and was it worth it?

In the beginning when I did mine, the local "chip burner guru" said " you gotta do it, the 165 is soo much better, blah, blah, blah".
2-3 years they say "its not worth the hassle".
One positive is that you get rid of the expensive and discontinued 1985 MAF burnoff relay and you get to use the widely available 86-89 MAF burnoff relay.
