Default LT1 to LT4 intake swap

Ok guys, me and a friend of mine have been comparing the Lt1's & LT4's. ( He has a 96 CE ) Anyway, is there a benefit in going with the LT4 intake on a basically stock LT1? Should a TB upgrade be done at the same time? Is the gain worth the time & effort of the install? I think if you port & polish the LT1 intake you can come up with the same gains. Any oppinions? :blueangel:

No, You won't get any power by putting a LT-4 intake on a LT-1. Besides, it won't fit unless you do some serious grinding on it.(I speak from experience) And then, you'll never be able to use it on an LT-4. Stick to the bacics, call one of the forum vendors (speed demon motorsports) and see what they think .

Will not work...the runners are higher on the LT4 intake.:( You will have to change the heads too.
