Default Anyone know anything about the Multiport intake?

Street and Performance sells an intake called the Multiport that has a straight 7" runner. It looks like the plenum is make from a TPI plenum. They also make one for Vortec heads called the ramport that they say fits under the stock C4 hood. I cannot find any past mentions of this intake on the forum.

You have to download the catalog and look at page 59 towards the bottom.

To save a lot of time, just download this partial section of
the Catalog - covers pgs 53-61. This downloads in a couple of
minutes, the entire catalog takes a LOT longer.

Right-click the link below and then select 'Save As'

SBC Fuel Injection Units & Accessories

Looking at the images on pg 59, it appears that the unit shown
has the optional 2-1/4" and 1-3/4" riser blocks installed between
the manifold and the plenum.

I do not see any comments about it fitting under a stock C4 hood.
Someone would have to convince me that the unit as shown would
do so. Now, if the riser blocks come out, that could be a different
story.

Is there any news about whether the intake is available by itself or
only as a package deal?

.

I remember seeing this thread, and looking at that manifold, when I came across this...

Looks like it could be the same manifold to me, and that it fits under the hood.

Picture is under the hood of the Callaway Sledgehammer.

It kinda looks like a dual quad or tunnel ram style intake base with a tpi style plenum merged on top along with injector plumbing. Not a bad idea.

Too bad Holley didn't go this route with the Stealth Ram. Protected by patents maybe?

Which is basically what the Street and Performance manifold looks like.

Here's a picture from the catalog, with the optional risers... a bit small and gets fuzzy if you try to enlarge.
