Use a unlit propane torch (sparingly) in the area you believe it to be. When the propane enters the vac, the engine RPM will increase slightly. There are only so many vac lines to follow. Look at your other thread to see a pic of the vac lines and also on your radiator shroud. Might even use a piece of garden hose as a stethoscope.

good info, but I perfer to use carb cleaner or starting fluid and not propane

Yes, either one of those will work as well. Also I have heard WD-40 will work. You might even get luck my adding Seafoam through the brake booster line.
