Divers door wont open from inside?
Getting into my '91 tonight i shut the drivers door, but it stopped in the ajar position as i didnt shut it hard enough.
So i went to open it so i could shut it properly, but the door release handle did nothing! So i had to lower the window and open it using the outside handle.
Played about with both releases and locks etc.- no luck
Anyone else had this?
Before i start removing the door pannel is thair anything else i can check/do to remedy it ? Im guessing the release rod has broken inside, but only want to start tearing into the door pannel if i realy have to.

thats a good guess, just gonna have to tear the panel off and go from there, my actual door release handle came off, but had to remove the panel to fix anyway...

It's possible that a plastic clip has broken and the rod slipped out of the inner handle or maybe the inner handle has broken.
Can you hear/feel any movement or resistance when you move the inner handle?
In any case you will need to remove the inner door panel for the repair.
