Default ZF6 rear seal

Anyone know if you can change the rear seal without pulling the tranny?

And the parts stores listing for the ZF6 rear seal is wrong. So just get the TH400 seal.

Anyone have a good part # for the seal. Mine leaks just enough to foul the exhaust.

Per Bill @ ZFDoc.com: NAPA P/N 18992

I will be buying one of these in the next couple of days.

Not sure if a flat-blade screwdriver is best to wedge it out -- or use a self-threading screw (or two), screw into rubber, and pull.

Also, wondering if I need to buy a short section of PVC pipe with similer/same diameter as seal to serve as a tool to knock it back in?

FYI: Doing this as PM since ZF is already out for motor swap.
