Default Code #12?

I bought my wife her own Corvette a couple of weeks ago , a 95 LT1 auto coupe and we got a service engine light. I have my manual on order but in the mean time when I checked the code(pin 4 to 12 with a paperclip) it came up with a code 12. I can't find this code mentioned anywhere, ? The light came on because of a bad water temp switch(#15) Thanks in advance

12 is the code that starts the cycle, then an error code, ending with 12 flashing.

Code 12 means your computer works. It's supposed to be there.

Akkkk! The infamous code 12! You car is almost ready to explode. I'll give you $12 for it to save you the trouble of having it happen on a busy highway. I sell them for scap metal and will get about $14 for it (I do it as a community service mostly). Thank goodness you were on top of this.

j/k Enjoy the vette, 95's are really nice.
