Default 1989 corvette vacume problem

There is a vaccum switch that bolts to the thermastat housing, it runs from the EGR valve and there is a vaccum hose that runs from the back of the switch and runs somewhere, but I'm not sure where, I can't find the hose ends up. Hope you can help me to locate it.

Source is from under the throttle body. It splits with one side to the EGR solenoid (thermostat) and the other to the fuel canister - left headlight well. Mine has snapped or simply dropped out of the T connector from time to time. Look around the alternator and you might find the other end.

One my 86 a vacuum source comes from the throttle body to the EGR solenoid (bolted to the t-stat housing). On the other side one vac line goes to the EGR and the other vac line goes nowhere. I was told when these cars were new there was a small filter on the end of it. Now when I look at this vac line it just ends to nothing.

I think , it isnt from your t-stat housing but should be connected to either throttle body or under side of plenum. it COULDNT be connected to your tstat or it would blow coolant into the egr.

Thermostat is simply where the EGR solenoid is mounted.
