I just finished assembling a '93 model 4l60 and after I pulled the valve body gaskets from the kit I noticed another pump to case gasket slid in there after I'd already installed the pump. I didn't realize there were two gaskets in the kit and now I'm wondering if there are differences between them. The ATSG manual is pretty good about pointing out differences bwtween the various models and I don't see anything about the pump gasket. Anyone know? Pete?
So just to be clear, the pic I posted is the 82-83 gasket? The other is in the assembled transmission and I'm just trying to avoid pulling the pump back out, although that would be easier now that later!

Yes. The pic is 82-83 style. If the other gasket is installed, you are good to go.
Excellent - Thanks for your help, and I've appreciated the help you've provided others on the forum regarding the auto transmissions. I've learned a lot from those posts too.
