Chrome emblems question
can anybody tell me if the 40th anniv. hood and Gas tank emblems are the same size and bolt pattern as the 85 emblems
yes i want the chrome look and no i dont have a anniv. model but i like the chrome look better then the black and i need to replace the emblems

So i say go for it....
The black is to plain. The chrome stands out more and bling bling.

I put the chrome ones on mine, I think they stand out nice against the maroon paint. The girl I bought the car from was going to put gold ones on that she thought would look great. Obviously no accounting for taste.............
But to answer your question, identical bolt pattern, pick your finish and go with it.
