Not much if any. It would be barely noticable if that.
For around $180 you would receive a piggyback adapter that fits between your stock chip and the ECM. It is always removable so you can go back to stock settings. You can change fan settings, ect.

how much would my basicly stock other than magnaflow exhaust and a K&N filter benifet from a custom tune from someone like PCM for less?
I personally recommend going with Jesse from www.azzatochips.com he tuned my 10 sec car and many of the fasts vetts on this forum . His service is one of the best I’ve experienced. When I got my car tuned by him I had the chip back with in 48 hours and the air/fuel ratio was right on, plus you can always send him the chip back to when you upgrade to a more radical setup and he would change it over for no cost, you get a life time service for on low cost.. You can’t go wrong

That would depend on were the tune is currently, and what your goal is with a custom tune (performance , fan settings, vats etc.). What I have seen is that a GM tune is ball-park at best. However if you were to go that route, to achieve the best results would require you to be able to send data-logs to whom ever you choose as a tuner. This would then necessitate the use of a laptop, some software and patience. JMO
There is some benefit to a good custom chip even on a basically stock car such as yours. Just dont be looking for 50hp out of the chip. BTW, I have used 3 tuners in the past. 1 was a total rip off. 1 was decent and 1, pcmforless was outstanding. If you would like to know who I consider a total rip off and why, PM me and I will explain.
