Default estimated power?

hello all. im the proud owner of a 91 l98 auto coupe with 65k miles. current mods consist of: k&n filter with cut lid, tb air foil (didnt buy it it came with the ride) hypertech thermomaster chip & 160 stat, msd 8.5mm super conductor plug wires with bosch platinum plugs, and muffler eliminators. just trying to guess what kind of power im makin. the engine is all there and is well maintained for. also any recommended affordable mods (not more than 350 bucks) will be great to hear. thanks guys

My rough guess:
245 Stock + 10 for mufflers + 5 for the rest = 260 Crank
Assuming a stiff 20% drivetrain loss, you're at ~208rwhp / 285rwtq
Just armchair dyno numbers...not a ton of worthwhile stuff you can buy for under 350, the site you want to read is http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c4/vader86

I'm planning on doing the same thing, if I can determine that removing my precats are legal here. Exhaust is a good place to improve the 85-91's...don't know about the chip. Haven't heard much if any positive info on them.

Good place to start. L-98 is serverly chocked by the exaust. Why not go with true dual, muffler eliminators and high flow cat. I sold my mufflers, air foil, and K&N. They wernt enough to do anything. I am running basicalyl straight manifolds at the moment because I am trying to get new pipe. Invest in headers later down the road when you can afford them.

At most 20 over stock.

Chip is a paperweight. Catless front Y helps, but its up to you whether you think its worth it to get 5-10hp from that for its expense.
