I will be very grateful if you can help me figure this out this is my dads car and he bout the car new and he only drives it 3 month's of the year two year ago he experience some problem with the radio system and tog the car to a daeler her in Sweden they had the car for two months and never could figure out the problem and installed anew radio then the speed odometer did not work and the battery went dead in two days so they installed a battery switch and gave him the car back . last year i moved back home and . no i am trying to help him so far i have sent all the radio components to the states and hade them repaired and installed them and every thing was working fine except the drain i bout a scanning tool it will not communicate whit this car and i have replaced the ecm and i finally fond battery drain it drains out true the a/c Heather programmer and i also have a uart failure if you can tell me what to do next i will really appreciate having a hard time getting local help Thanks Rolf
I would doubt that the AC programmer would cause this. I would contact www.vette2vette.com (a salvage yard that does Corvettes) and ask them about getting a used one.
More than likely, the CCM is bad. That is the Chassis Control Module and it controls just about everything that you have commented as being faulty.
I hope you understand what I wrote! My Swedish is really bad!!! More like non-existant! I can say Volvo and SAAB, tho! And we really like Ikea!
