got an SES light
ok the SES light is never on when the car starts, but after a couple minutes of driving it comes on. If you shut the engine back down it will be off and again if u drive for a couple minutes its back on. I am thinking a loose connection, anyone have any idea what is could be?

I agree. Pull the code(s) first to narrow down where to look. One of my cars had SES light and the code indicated one of the O2 sensors was out of range so I changed it. No more light. But there are lots of faults that could trigger the SES light.

I am curious also. Mine just cam on for the first time the other day. Cleared after I shut it off, and has not come back. Can I still pull the code that set this two days ago?

Code 26 is a fault in the quad-driver module #1 circuit. When I get home tonight I will scan you the procedures from the manaul diagnostic chart. :crazy:

The procedure calls for a tech1 scanner to check the EGR solenoid, the AIR solenoid, the electric switching valve solenoid, and the cannister purge solenoid. Do you have access to a scanner?

I too have had a SES light it that's (service engine soon) light. I also do NOT have the owners manual, so I don't have a clue about codes or what I should really do? Could you help me out?
