Default Rear Axle Nut - 33mm?

Quick question. Getting ready to do rear wheel bearings on my '86 and I think I have to order a socket. Is the rear axle nut a 33mm nut? Or does it convert to a particular SAE size that fits properly? TIA

I was just looking at tools at Sears. I think it's only 8 or 9 dollars if you like Craftsman.

Pep boys has a 36 MM impact socket for about $4-5. Obviously it's not the greatest quality, but chances are you'll only ever have one use for a 36 MM socket, so buying a good one isn't really necessary IMO.

You guys rock. Someone in another post mentioned 33 as the size. I was looking everywhere for a 33mm and was about to order one at Napa. I've already got a 36mm. Thanks!
