Rain getting into the passenger side
I've been doing some work on my '93 Coupe, so when rain clouds blew up I simply put away my tools, and lowered the clam shell down, but because I plan to go back and do more work when the rain passed I didn't close it hard enough to engage the lock, so the hood was cocked up an inch or 2 higher then normal. I was sure surprised to see the passenger side foot compartment standing in about an inch of rain water the next day! I'm drying it out now, towels and fan. While it was raining yesterday I investigated some. I think rain is running down the seam of the door. The crack is much larger with the hood not all the way down. I guess I need to close the hood all the way from now on. Has anyone else ran into this?

i thought the same with mine, but look closely where the A-pilar and the door glass meet... thats where my leak was at

Mine also leaks here as well somewhat, but it's intermittent. If the hood were up and you have a bad seal between where the a/c evaporator and blower fan are housed and the firewall, water could easily get in that way, but that's a lot of water.
