Suddenly Running Rough

My 87 started running rough today on a road trip. After running for 45 mins, we stopped for a meal and when we started back on the road, the engine started bucking and would not take any throttle. After a couple of minutes of running like that the engine would smooth out and it seemed to run okay until we stopped. Again it would run rough and then smooth out after a couple of minutes. This occured all day. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :confused:

I've got the same problem. You push the pedal a bit, and it bogs down and almost dies.

Sounds like your fuel pump is gone.

Thanks to those members that took the time to respond to my problem. What I found out was that the MAF was bad. Replaced it and my Vette is running better than I remember. Hopes this helps anyone with same type of problem. :flag
