Cometic head gasket oil leak problem
I have a 383 LT1 with stock head castings and Cometic head gaskets. I finally got around to tracking down the location of an oil leak (well, 4..). The oil is leaking from between the heads and the block about halfway down the front and rear of the heads. The only place I can figure the oil is originating from is the oil drainback holes in the heads. There is no problem with oil or water into the combustion chambers or water on the outside of the heads. Any suggestions?? Anyone else ever see this?
