It is time for me to replace the shocks on my 96. I have heard of a few of the guys using the Hal adjustable shocks. I just wanted to get some info on them first, such as do you guys like them, where is a good place to buy them and so on?
i have them all around and i love them. They adjust from super soft to super stiff and look like quality pieces. Call Summit and they can give you HALs number. Their tech guys are good and will give you the part number you need. It's usually cheaper to get them from summit, but you need the correct part numbers becuase summit usuallyoesn't list the corvette shocks.
btw, wasn't your car featured in Vette Mag a while back??? Nice piece.
I have HALs on the front and rear of my 92 and they are perfect for a dual purpose car. Super quick weight transfer at the track, then firm them up for the ride home. QA1 (formerly HAL) started making C4 specific front shocks a few months ago with a larger diameter shaft that still are 12 way adjustable, Part# TC-3014, the rears are #TC-3024.
Enjoy, Dave :flag
