Idle is driving me crazy!!!!!!
Ok, I put in a new IAC, and cleaned the throttle body also, and then tried to set the idle using the proceedure in tech tips. I set the minimum idle speed with the IAC disconnected, and then do the rest, i go between .54 and .65 volts at idle, but i can't get it to read 4.6-4.7 volts at WOT, the most i can get is 4.34 no matter what I do. Is this ok? Could there possibly be something wrong with my ECM? So i set it, lock the TPS in place, and start the car, and it ends up idling at around 620 in park, which i think is way too low because the power steering barely works anymore at that RPM, and once you put in drive it drops to 520-540. Can anybody tell me what the correct RPM is for my car?

The TPS voltage is fine.... Anything over 4.2 should be okay.
The idle on a 1985 in the chip is 550 rpm in drive, so it sounds like it's operating normal.
If you want, I can burn a performance chip for you that will also raise the idle to whatever rpm you like it at.
