my mechanic shop is replacing the rear main seal on engine because it didn't seat properly and is leaking. Its at their expense and I was told that my clutch might need to be replaced, my master/slave cylinders were just replaced 3 weeks ago. I have a 383 with other mods and was just wondering IF I do need a new clutch or close to needing one then no other time to take advantage of the labor time than right now....Which clutch should I look into. I don't how this other clutch would need replaced ? the master/slave cylinder were replaced 2 years ago/4,000 miles ago along with the clutch too, but both were done by 2 different shops. I have the centerforce stage 2 clutch now, what should I look into IF I decide to get a new clutch ?
I don't know what caused both master and slave to go bad after 3-4 thousand miles, they said I shift rough, but I don't agree with that,
The above link will take you to our web store page for this product.
The centerforce flywheel can not be used as this is a complete system also our flywheel is not the same thickness as a stock dual mass.
I bought their package, good for 700 RWHP
Package comes with Alum. FW as well.
BLWN BUX,,,,Did you get the push type clutch?
I am done with the Pull type BS, I am still waiting on McLeod's new Push type setup, supposedly you can use the factory Vette FW with their new setup, but I have not see the pricing yet, they say it will be on the market in another few weeks.
The add states not included is the adapter from the master to the throw out bearing, How much was that, I didnt see any pricing on it the
L-98 package was $999.00 without it.

They are talking about the braided hydraulic line.
On my McLeod Push type swap, I used a braided brake line that cost @ $20.00
