I am sure many others have the same problem..........how to get dirt and grease removed from hands. Nothing seems to work well. Anyone have a favorite hand cleaners, or a product that works well (even tried gloves- impossible to get anything done or pick up small parts).
I purchased a 1 gal. jug of Fast Orange that has a pump on the top. I just open up the cupboard doors below the sink with my elbow, shoot some Fast Orange on my hands, then rinse off from the elbows down in the kitchen sink. The stuff works great, and with the pump on top, you don't have to screw around with unscrewing a top everytime you use it.

Yep great stuff.. i got a 1.3gallon jug (33% free!!!! woohooo!!!! ) ... the pump should be manditory on all cleaners.. :flag
I use the monster size Fast Orange pump too, and it works well and smells great. However, I also find that lava soap is tough to beat, since it's essentially a wet sanding block made out of soap that effectively grinds the embedded dirt and grease right out from you fingerprints. I know some people cry that it "scratches their hands" :cry , but wussies like that should stick to crocheting.
I work in a printing company where we have ink and solvents. A few years ago we started suppying thin Nitrile gloves for the guys. These are great. They do not leak and are thin enough to allow that "touch" feel. The best part is that you take them off and your hands are spotless.
Fast Orange is great, especially the kind w/ the grit in it. And the other guy was right about the tubs turning to muck after awhile. Get the pump style (although it prbably turns to muck as well, we just don't have to see it). Gojo cleans faster, but the scent leaves a little to be desired.
Just use a bar of soap a very little water and rub the soap all over your hands. Wait till it dries and work on your car. No matter how dirty your hands are they rinse off very clean very easily.
Zep products makes a product called REACH it works very good. Light green in color and does not smell. That Orange stuff always makes me thirsty lol
It's called "GABE'S GRIT" has a fine pumice in it, bio-degradeable w/lanolin and smells good. Oh yes it cleans grease like you wouldn't believe and leaves your hands soft for your honey! :yesnod:
