hi, i just had my 89 corvette engine rebuilt and am about to put it back in. i want to replace the fuel injectors since they have 156,000 on them. my question is what fuel rate should i go with. the car is stock but i am planning to do a few mods in the future. what is the stock flow rate should i go with stock or higher? future plans for mods would include exaust, intake, and possibly a chip. Are accel injectors any better than stock? thank you for your time.
if you were going to put a high flow base on it now, i would go with 24#ford injs. that is what i am doing if no base i not sure about 24# i think stock is 22 not may cf members are accell users bosh makes a pink top 22 that is very good i am sure someone else will speak up or do a search for injs.
In a stock 89, you have 22# Multecs. Yes, replace them with 22# of a different brand. Sam Lam will clue you in. Though if those are the stock injectors....looks like you got very good use out of them.

where could i get a good deal on fords? people said either 22 or 24, if i got 24's would there be a possibility of the car running too rich?
Some C4 owners are running these with good results. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku I would suggest an AFPR also. I'm running 24lb injectors in my L98. I did the AFPR and a chip. Mine are accels. I guess I was lucky, No problems. At the time I didn't know that Ford injectors could be run in a L98. I would suggest the Fords. Some members have had problems with fiveomotorsports. They sell rebuilts and used injectors. For a few dollars more you can buy new Fords.

not trying to hijack this thread but I have a set of pink ford injectors out of a 2003 mustang GT that I got for free. anyone knowthe flow rate of theese, I have a '93 and my injectors are very noisy at times. the swap would not cost me a dime free mods
You mean the Accels? Im sending RRT the $$ and I will post back once I get them in. If they do suck, Ill make sure to comment. BUT, if they are good...... If they do make it run rich or dont work out, I will resale them on here.....

Go to fiveomotorsports & put the must@ng info in, then your will know what injectors are stock and if you can use them.
would these be good from factory five, i think there ford style bosch... heck out the latest technology in fuel injectors for your L98 Corvette.
Click this link to read about the new
Bosch XF2E-22.5
injector set.
Complete as shown with 8 XF2E-22.5 and adapters.
$359.95 Complete set
are those 22.5's?
That sounds too high for 22lb injectors. I would either check fiveomotorsports or the FMS injectors. It would save you alot and be good injectors. Or you can send yours to cruiznperformance.com.
i am having trouble finding fords that are 22's im only seeing 24's and 19's. can somone send me a link to where i can find ford 22's at a good deal please?
