Default Best SINGLEPLANE intake manifold ?

Hi guys!

i think sell my MiniRam and buy singleplane manifold .

Question:

Which Singleplane (for EFI) manifold is BEST ?

Holley - p/n 9901-101-1
Accel - p/n 74139
Edelbrock (i like this to 8500 RPM!!!! WOW) p/n 29785

or another ?

And still - where to buy " PLENUM ELBOW ADAPTER 90 degree " for my stock-style Monoblade 1300cfm?
I know there was such Accel p/n 74882 - but it like already cannot be bought....
custom made it? (...oh )
Who knows, for Edelbrock such "ELBOW adapter" exists?

If you have the hood space and have the cubic inch or air flow needs the Super Victor is a nice one also worth looking at. I am running one on my 406 and it really does excellent.

Hi Sam!

Thanks for advice!

I have a question:

This Edelbrock "Super Victor" will be better, than Accel #74139 (#74140) ?
or they equally good ?

thanks

I have no experience with the Accel #74139 so I honestly can't answer that. I do have experience with the Victor jr and Super Victor and both are excellent...Super Victor being better for bigger cubic inch or extremely high rpm on a smaller cubic inch engine with a big head.

Sam,
Is your experience with the SV being in a carbed application? If so, the RPM range will be even higher than for the carbed application, as there is no fuel in the intake manifold on the fuel injection applications. That is why it is somewhat hard to find single plane manifolds that work on slightly modified / fairly modified engines. I try to advise those who are contemplating this swap to make sure they have enough cam, heads, and cubes to carry the C4SP intake.

Great advice and we are both thinking along the same lines.
