Default Anyone installed a line lock on 1995 LT1??

I recently purchased a TCI line lock kit. Any advice for application/instructions on plumbling it in? Is there a particular point within the system that the lock needs to be installed? Thanks, Mark.

I installed the line-lock on my 94 just to the front and right below the master cylinder, and used the rear master cylinder hard-line unaltered.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any pics?? I am trying to get everything ready before I disconnect the brake line. So far all I have is the T.C I. line lock, wiring , and the switch. I am not sure of the size and type fitting(s) I will need. It appears pretty cramped for space in the area of the master cylinder. It was mentioned that it could be done w/o having to add any additional brake line or flaring! I am sure that your 94 is the same config. as my 95. Thanks, BLIZZ

Thanks, any pics would be appreciated. When I remove the front brake line from the master, is it possible to route it directly into the line lock? I am trying to avoid having to cut the original brake line if I don't have to! BLIZZ

Yes that's what I did, and bent a new line back to the master cylinder.

I have one mounted near the master cylinder on my '93 and on my '95 I had it mounted on the frame.

Pics don't really show too much.

Didn't it come with instructions?

Mr. Mojo, Thanks for the pics! I don't have any experience at installing a line lock, however I did locate my power source, installed the swicth, but I am stuck as to the location of the "lock". I wanted to keep it somewhere close to the master cyl.. But it is so cramped around the master cylinder, I was curious how anyone else with a 95 LT1 routed and or added additional brake line to the line lock. Thanks again, BLIZZ

Blizz, where my line lock is located it's hard to get a good picture. Let me have your email address and I'll send one that shows the location and additional hardline that I installed.

i mounted my line lock in the rear abs controller compartment. Nice hidden install out of the way and not hanging under the car.

It should be the same as the coupes. In the storage area behind the drivers seat.

Seems like mounting in the ABS compartment would be a good idea, I did not take a look yet..but you mentioned the lines were marked Lr Lf RR Rf. With only an inlet and outlet on the Line Lock, how would you pair the front lines to the lock??? Or am I not getting it!!!!!!???? I knew I should have sat in the front row during school! A picture or two would be nice. Thanks guys, Mark
