SYS flashing at me
I got my car back from the shop to get cosmetic repairs and now the SYS light is flashing at me. The car seems to have been disconnected from the battery at some point. The car had the same gas 10 days old with only a gallon so possibly stale??? I got new gas in and everything and car seems fine but I dont know.
Any help out there?

Go to autozone and have them pull the code for you for free. Post back what you get and what module it came from.

Probably just a drained battery.

If you don't get the ccm codes, go to
http://www.c4guru.com Your 96 should have basically the same configuration as the 93-93
There seems to be a rash of SYS lights recently. Is it something in the air?

A drained battery is the most usual suspect with a flashing SYS. Yhey might have disconnected something and forgot to reconnect.

Same thing happened to me 2 days ago. I put the battery on trickle charge overnight and SYS light went away. Check your battery or charge it with a "smart charger".
