Has anyone run Chevron Techron injecter cleaner in their LT1's ?
If so, what were your results?
When I was on the test drive to purchase the car, we ran out of gas on the way to the station. I may have picked up some crud at the bottom of my tank.

I have not used it on a Lt1 but I used it on my 1988 BMW with 250,000miles on it. It ran much better once I ran it through. I would suggest it. I talked to a couple of mechanics (some from a dealership) and the Techron is all they suggest using.
Your fuel pump always pulls from the bottom of the tank. Otherwise you'd "run out of gas" at the top of the tank. I'd also imagine that stuff stays pretty well mixed up in there with stopping and starting and going around corners.
That said, chevron with techron works fine, injector cleaners are all pretty much the same thing, just with different concentrations. If I'm having a problem where I think that there may be dirty injector issues, I want the strongest stuff I can find, and in my experience, seafoam has been that. If you're not having problems right now, and you're just looking for something gentle, Lucas makes and injector cleaner that doesn't have the solvent odor of 99% of cleaners out there.

If I were you, I'd just get whatever's on sale.
Eh? From what I remember some of the cheapies are ethanol or methanol. It's like taking water absorber, putting an injector clearer label on it, and charging five bucks more.
Changing the fuel filter would make more sense but no you won't get more "dirt" running low on fuel.
I have just tried a new product from Greased Lighting... it is a super strong 12,000 mile once a year treatment (so they say). I put it in and filled her up with 93. We will see. I was debating between this and the techron... the greased lighting was a buck or two more.
I put the whole bottle with a 1/2 tank, then drove the heck out of it on some back roads for 20 miles or so. It seems to idle a little smoother. It was fast before & still is!!
I use Chevron gas also, which seems to make ALL my cars run better!
