air pump and egr removal?

air pump and egr removal?

Hey guys I am putting on that lt1 conversion and new headers and i have to get rid of the egr. If i take all of the egr hoses and piping off can i just leave the air pump there without having to buy a pump-delete bracket. Or can I just get a smaller belt and take off the pulley from the pump? Let me know if anybody has done this WITHOUT having to buy an eliminator(cant afford one more thing to my budget build)

I didn't like the looks of any of the eliminator kits for my L98 so I gutted the pump and left it there strictly as a pulley. I don't like the looks of the pump either but I already had it.

PM redrose to make you an alternator relocator bracket that completely eliminates the need for a smog pump delete idler arm. Yes, you'll need a shorter belt but everything looks 100% neater!
