Transmission pan leak
It's real hard to see where the leak is on these cars if you don't have a 6' lift.
It doesn't make a good tranny pan gasket sealer.
You may want to check the pan on a piece of plate glass to make sure it's not warped.
Also, if someone gorilla tightened some of the pan bolts previously, you may have to fix that with a ball peen hammer.
Check each blot hole to make sure they are ok.
First thing to do is lay the pan on a known flat surface such as a piece of window glass and check around it with a feeler gauge or something to see if it's still 'ok'.
I know you mentioned 96"/Lbs. but I'll ask the dumb question anyway....
You did use an inch/pound torque wrench, right?
I've been tempted to use my regular torque wrench but . . .that's not right.
