Default Need info on parts

I am scrounging up some cash for a vette junkyard run in PA. I have a good cam from Comp cams not super beefy should give me 350 Hp. 446 lift xtreme enrgy cam. I'm looking for an intake i was going to go edelbrock because i always used them. But i heard if i take the intake from an LT1 that will do the job, I have an 86 L98 with the aluminum heads. If i take the intake and it works well should i just take the whole TPI unit, runners and all? What say some of you speed junkies.

Didn't the LT1 have the opti crap inigtion if so the rear of the intake would not have a hole for your L98 distributor...

Nope. You cannot use the Intake from an LT1 for a few reasons. There is no distributor provisions, the cooling passages do not line up, etc.
The Edelbrock is a nice piece as is the Lingenfelter/Accel piece. They should make the same power.
Good Luck,
