It should, but you'll change your VATS and your mileage, if it matters. Assuming you mean the Body Control Module (what I call it) is the same as the Central Control Module (what some books call it). I can't remember, but it seems the 90-91's are the same.
fred same name what do you mean it will change the vats i am buying one just to have as a spare yes you do have to have it reflashed at dealer for mileage thanks geo.
The vats code is stored in the BCM, and I'm pretty sure it is not changeable by the dealer (you'll need new keys). The mileage on a new unit has to be set by the dealer "flashed" with in 10 miles or it will lock up. Used units have the mileage of the orig car in them. It is VERY rare one ever goes out.
The CCM has:
1) The key pellet resistance knowledge -- but that is easy to change.
2) The vehicle ID number -- can only be changed for the first 100 miles.
3) The vehicle option content (like C68 climate control)
4) The odometer reading -- can only be changed for the first 100 miles
