Coolant leak
i have a late 86 (alum. head) coupe. Been having the low coolant light pop on. I put a pressure tester on the radiator and found coolant on top of the manifold under the #2 & 4 intake runner. There is NO coolant in the oil so i'm not worried about the head gaskets. Does this seem like an intake manifold gasket has let go? Thanks alot.

It does sound like an intake gasket.

Intake leak and I would use Permatex MotoSeal® Ultimate Gray Gasket Maker for the job.
It creates a solvent-based bond that fully seals within 20 minutes. Forms a tough flexible bond that is highly effective on irregular and uneven joint surfaces.
Ideal for use on frequently dissembled engines. Resists gasoline and other damaging fluids. Withstands temperatures 350˚F (177˚C) continuous, 400˚F (204˚C) intermittent. Suggested applications: Transmission case halves, cylinder head top covers, center and end covers (transmissions), crank case halves, cam covers, exhaust manifold seals, timing chain cases, side covers, clutch housings.
