Default " stealth ram rev range please"

hi guys,
i heard that as advertised the holley stealth rams rev range is
from idle to 6,000 rpm qouted from "jegs" and "summit".

then i heard from grumpyvette that the range is from 3,500 rpm to 6,500 rpm, so which range is it suited to please?

would you class the stealth ram as an all rounder or more mid-top end?

r.e "super ram" what rev range is that start to finish at please?

thanks guys
cheers
glen

it all depends on what heads and cam?

use the search options on this website. you need to do some research.

What cam, what heads, what compression. The same heads with different components down stream will peak at different RPMS.

I think you will probably find more info on the Stealth Ram over at Thirdgen.org. The manifold doesnt fit under a stock vette hood so there arent going to be a ton of people here that have actually used one.

FWIW> When I dynoed my Miniram the HP peaked at 5900 RPM and the HP stayed the same up to 6500rpm then dropped off.

If you dont have forged internals, "I PERSONALLY" would not go above 6000rpm.

Some guys do go up to 6500 with stock parts,

Lastly, 6000 or 6500,,, you talking about the blink of an eye

And you cam will play a roll in how high you can go before its over.

" hydraulic rollers will start to float the valves in that range anyways. Besides, the dash tachometer is known to be off from the actual revs. Don't worry about 500 RPM.
With the limited time I ran a stealth and the time I ran a superram, I would class the stealth is an "all-arounder" as you describe it. "
thanx
cheers

"there are so many different answers to one i am after who knows what to belive!"

Did the links I posted help?

As with many questions there are multiple answers and opinions so it is up to you to decide which one best suits your situation.
