comin out of gas station onto busy road pedal went to floor(slowly)had to keep pumpin but still able to stop(gradually goes to floor), does this sound like a modulator$$$$ or master cyl.$$, no leaks &fluid is full, rode home slow w/emergency brake, gonna pull gray hairs out now.
Thats a suck.... I had the same thing happen to me when the seal between the master cylinder and the brake booster went south... There was a small trace of liquid on the plastic booster housing.... I took it to firestone to have it fixed.... they watns $600   :mad Me and my dad drove the thing ACROSS town same way... And then replaced the master cylinder for about $60 and an hour of labor.... Check that out There has to be something in that vasinity.... I would really really suspect cylinder
Havent had that problem yet, but I just want to say, I have the SAME exact car as you but it is an 89 Corvette Red convt with black. But I have a BONE stock motor. Thinking of what upgrades to do and I see you have done alot. I was wondering what the cost was for all your mods? Did you do them all at once or a little at a time. I was at a car hang out near me and I saw a guy with a 40th Ann. Edition with a 396 in it with tons of Mods. Man was that hot or what. It was a fast and furious car.
will start with mastercyl.I hope its not that $$$part modulator , late 88 on up they went to diff. mas.cyl. single resevoir & probably better internals, tires come today guess I gotta wait to try them.
