Starter!!! Plz Help ASAP!
Hey guys, my battery died last night, and as it was dying i tried to crank it. i heard a CLINK! from the starter. I replaced the battery just now and now when i turn the key the stater doent go at all. i think it may be caught in a dead spot... i wanna try banging it with a pipe or something but cant find the starter. Please reply ASAP cuz the car is on a crappy jack right now.

what do you mean you can't find the starter?????
passenger side underside of the engine compartment mounted on the block resting against the bellhousing of the transmission.
got a repair manual....they usually have pics

ey, i just knocked the starter... i hear the solonoid working, and it cranked one and then died again.i just dont understand why all this would happen when the battery dies... i dont think its that coincidental... thanks... btw, i gave up for the night... neighbors kinda gettin pissed at me bangin metal at midnight :-)
