4l60e Swap Need Help....

My Friend Just Installed A 1994 4l60e Trans Into A S-10 Pickup. The Truck Now Has A Carburated Small Block In It.
Question Is : What Does He Need To Make The Trans Shift Correctly And Torque Converter Lockup ?

If it truly is the 'E' version, this is an computer controlled (shifted) trans. Which requires the computer and sensors to work. The 4L60e is a distant cousin of the 700r4 which is not computer controlled. The aftermarket does make controllers to do this retrofit.

Is There A Valvebody Or "trick" That Will Make The Trans Shift Correctly ? And Where Do You Buy The Lockup Control Unit ?

I think TCI has a stand alone computer. $550 or so, if memory serves.

Is There A Way To Convert The 4l60e Back To 4l60 Without The Computer ?

Not that I am aware. With the abundance of 700r4's out there, I would not guess many have tried to convert an electronic trans to a non electronic trans.
