I have a '94 that had a bad clutch master cylinder. i was having to top off every week with fluid. Replaced with new m.c. now cannot for the life of me get it to bleed. After talking to a friend that owns a body shop, I am "gravity bleeding" it as we speak. Is that the answer, or if not, is the "power bleeder" the answer? HELP!! I have had the car for 16 mos. and love it, but I bought it to drive, not leave in the drive way on jack stands!!!
Did you bench bleed it before installing? If not,you probably have air in the system.Try bleeding it at the slave cylinder. This should fix the problem.Remember, take the slave off the bell hsg. and be sure the bleeder screw is pointing straight up to allow the air out.Otherwise it could stay trapped in the slave.
Hope this helps.
I don't think the clutch hydraulic system is subject to skidding.
LMAO! you should've seen me when I was learning a clutch at age 14 with a DODGE van that had "three on the tree". I just might have changed your mind about the ability for a clutch to skid!
