Default Crash pad removal for ECM access

How do you get to the ECM easily?

Remove the crash pad? How do you do that?

I've had no luck so far. I am still trying to troubleshoot my injector problem, and I am trying to see if I am getting any signal out of the ECM. I am not getting any at the pigtail under the kickpan that I unplugged.

A 10mm socket with extensions. Drop the hush panel, get into as comfortable position under the dash as is possible and remove the two bolts. I did mine a long time ago and it was somewhere between a root canal and a public flogging.

seriously though, it's very doable without removing the "bread box" That in and of itself takes as long as the ECM removal.
