Default no start when warmed up

I have an 89 coupe 350 TPI auto. I am new to this forum and hope I posted properly. Once the car is warmed up it will not start for awhile, could be ten minutes or 2hrs. At first I thought ign module was going bad. I replaced that and the coil, cap and rotor. The plugs have been replaced. The ect asensor was replaced. The tps reads properly. I have fuel pressure. The car starts right up when cold and it is cold (5degrees this morning) Once it reaches between 140 and 165 it begins to miss and continues this going from a slight miss to a point where the engine sounds like it will die. It hasn't up to this point. If I shut off and try to restart it won't until??? I have been told to change the injectors. I would except this always happens at a certain temp and it would appear to be something other than injectors to me. Any help is appreciated

When you say it won't start, do you mean the starter cranks but the engine will not fire and run or do you mean that the starter won't crank the engine?

I had the same trouble with an 89, I replaced EVERYTHING (I had another one sitting here, so I was lucky). I refused to believe it could be injectors. It was.

When my car had those exact starting problems in early 2005, the reason was the stock Multec POS injectors were leaky. Well, my car would start, but it would take about 20 seconds of cranking before it would fire up and idle on its own. My problem was also compounded with a faulty EVAP canister + cracked vacuum lines. Because of all those vacuum leaks, my car ran like **** for a good year until I physically eliminated the problems. Plugged the 2 ports on the TB and viiiooollllaaa, no more vacuum leaks which caused a bad surging idle varying from 400 - 1400 rpms every 2 seconds.

Sounds like a lean condition to me. If it was a rich condition, you would have fouled the plugs. Remove a few spark plugs. Ig any of them are blackish....Yup...you have injector problems. I dont know what would cause a lean condition on a C4 though.. Fuel filter, fuel pump, old fuel, large vacuum leak.
good luck
