Local vandalism warrants buying a locking gas cap. Stant makes both vented and non-vented caps. I thought the system was pressurized and stock C4 caps were non-vented. Am I correct? Which should I purchase or does it really matter? Thanks for your answers on such a minor question. Bill

I think all of the EFI cars have non-vented caps to allow for fuel vapor recovery. Engine vacuum keeps the tank under negative pressure when the engine runs and a sealed cap prevents fumes from escaping while parked.
All gas tank venting is handled through the Charcoal canister (in order to reduce VOC emissions). If you put on a vented cap chances are you will get a SES light (on a OBDII for sure you will).
