Default LT1's have EGR????

I was going to put LT1 exhaust manifolds on my L98 along with the rest of the LT exhaust system. But, it looks like the L98 EGR is piped off the passenger side exhaust manifold and I don't see any fitting on the LT1 manifold I have.

You may be able to adapt the pass. side AIR tube to work as an EGR source. Actually the AIR doesn't do that much, but the EGR is pretty important for emissions and driveability.

I was looking at that as a possibility. I will probably be taking off the air system anyway. But, I don't think it would be an easy plumbing job to go from the air fitting to the egr manifold inlet. That is all hard piped.
Anyway sounds like the answer to my question is no EGR on LT1's?

LT4's don't have EGR, LT1's do. Those manifolds came from a '96 6-speed.

There is no difference in the LT4 and LT1 exhaust manifolds. Although the LT4 doesn't have an EGR, it has the same AIR system as the LT1.

All LTx exhaust manifolds have air fittings. The LT1 also uses the air fittings for the EGR.

So, now it sounds like the answer to the question is yes, the LTx's do have EGR. But, they do not have a unique port in the exhaust manifold, instead they share the same plumbing as the air system?

Any suggestions on how or what to use for plumbing the EGR from the AIR port on the LTx exhaust manifold to the intake on the L98?
