I was reading through the various tech tips this afternoon when I came across the one for changing the brakes on the C4. It says to drain some of the fluid from the master cylinder and then compress the caliper pistons. Just for a FYI... on ABS equipped cars, it's a good idea to open the bleeder screw on the caliper as you compress the piston. This allows the fluid being compressed a place to go without pushing the fluid back into the ABS system. This fluid can contain tiny pieces of dirt and material that can play havoc with your ABS internal valves. Just remember to close the bleeder back up as the piston is fully compressed!
Just something to consider next time your doing pads.

You're talking about two different words here. Advise is a verb, meaning to give or offer advice, or suggest. Advice is a noun, meaning counsel. :yesnod:
Heck, I haven't even been in an english class since '75. :conehead
