Default Not another C4 uneven stance?

Well, after autocrossing for the first time I realized haveing the body frame level to the ground in the rear is more important for handling than having the stance equal on both sides.
So, I was under measuring the frame and realized the drivers side is lower by about a half an inch, at the frame.
But, the threads showing on the drivers side spring bolt is about 2 inches higher up than the passenger side!!!!
The passenger side has two threads showing right now. Odd
After autocrossing the drivers side rear tire, 315's and VB&P advanced street alignement, had apparently been hitting the inner plastic fenderwell.
So, how can I be off that much?
The only thing I did to the Vette recently was to remove the D44 to repair a leak, and then I put the spring back in the same way, with the exception of the center spacers. I put them in the way the FSM (oppsoite of what I had), which is 2 on the side closest to the ground, and one on top of the spting. Then I leveled it, then aligned it. I did not remove the sway bar.
I looked at all the spring eye bolt bushings, and they are fine and red urethane. The sway bar bushings are urethane also, and fine.
The spring has no visible damge or cracks. The shocks bushings are fine. Tire pressure is the same.
Can it be a bad leaf spring?
