Had problems today with intermitent radio/interior light.
For the first time I checked the fuses, and found them all coated with a white oxide.I cleaned every fuse, and and circuit breaker terminal and holder using emery cloth and CRC electronic cleaner.
Solved that problem and more.
No more flickering dash lights,Which I figured was a bad ground that I was going to address anyway.Crappy 86E windows are going up and down a touch faster.
And you know,it might be my imagination, but I think the damn thing runs better too!
The Tach stays steady, and the engine seems to run smoother,is that possible?
Well, maybe it is my imagination, but I dont think so. Atleast all the lamps are brighter, and not flickering.
Oh ya!Everything is 20 years old.
I'm in the process of cleaning up 20 years of neglect.
I'm the second ownner,it was first owned by a lady.
She never hurt it,but she never took care of it either.
