1990 is correct, driver's side only. Dual airbags arrived 1994.

My husband is looking at C4s and plans to share it with our daughter. He wants airbags.
Thanks!

Hey- SAN ANTONIO! Email me!- We'll have to get together! I bought a 94 over a 93 so I could have the added safety of a passenger side airbag. The thought of a passenger having an injury in an accident was more than I could bear to think about (I've worked trauma...). The GM design team made a lousy decision tough- in gaining the airbag, you lose your glovebox. - John

Nothin' like solid rocket fuel sitting in front of you while drivin' your vette ;)
(btw, air bags work off of solid rocket fuel that explodes causing the exlosive amount of Nitrogen gas to come out and inflate the air bag .. in case ya didn't know)

Re: What year did Corvette start having airbags? (Glock'94)
This is the first air-bag equipped car I've had. It doesn't make me feel any more "safe" than my other cars, (particularly since when I worked at a trauma hospital I saw lots of facial bruising, broken noses, and neck strains- from the bags), but these injuries are minor compared to what broken glass or a steering wheel can do on impact....
