Trust me you don't want cheap O2 sensors. No such thing as a simulator as far as I know. Get them where you get your pipes, all the Corvette suppliers have them. Also NAPA, Autozone, etc.
You should still run your O2 sensors, even without cats. The cats do not have any effect on the O2 sensors they just tell the ECM if you have a rich or lean mixture and compensates with the injector pulse width to bring the mixture right again.
Leave your O2 sensors in and commected.

The only C4 that requires simulators is a '96 if you want/need to eliminate the rear O2s. You cannot eliminate the main O2s and expect the car to run properly unless you go to a carb, etc. and throw the ECM/PCM away.

and
Since the car in question has not been listed we will have to assume its the 93 listed in profile, in which case it only has 2 primary sensors, no secondaries, and removal of the cats will mean nothing to the function of the primary O2 sensors.

You will probably lose low down torque. Unless youre spending alot of time way up high in the revs youll gain nothing.

I don't think you have a visual inspection in Texas. It's been a while since I've lived there. If you can find a muffler shop that will do it, have them cut the cats off and sleeve the pipes. That's what I did. You should get a bit more sound and performance. Gutting cats is messy work!
