What would you say to a heads up race between you and me....? No breakout, pro tree, first one to the finish wins? I'll take my chances with no roll bar. It'd certainly be fun! We're performing similarly(Close e.t. and mph).Just a friendly suggestion.

Wow JD !!! Looks like you want to race afterall with challenges like that. 
Why a Pro-Tree ? Around here they wouldn't interrupt a normal Test n tune to change the system for a Pro start. Maybe they do out there ?

Sorry JD but I couldn't set something like that up knowing you not 11.99 legal. The track has been very good to me but thats what happens when you hve been racing there longer almost 35 years, thats longer than most of the Challenge racers have been on this planet including yourself and i'm not knowingly going to jepordize that relationship. I lost one racer yesterday because he was warned repeatedly and still continued to run well under the 14.00 for conv'ts. I'm not going to loose another.
So install a rollbar, I can get you a good deal and lets have my 11.50 no breakout, heads-up pro tree class. It would be fun.

Why don't you guys just line up togeather on a test and tune night with a regular .500 tree ? JM should not be held responsible for JD getting thrown out, if that's what will happen.

That sounds alright. I just blasted it... with this air, it feels like it had a little LONGER Gas Pedal! It doesn't usually leave a smoke cloud off a full punch off idle...it sure did just now :D.
I am waiting for the slicks I am borrowing to get here. Then it's off to the track to see how deep in to the 11's it can go. Keep me posted Mack.

If you go as "DEEP" into the 11s as the WAX is on your car, you will be in the 10s :D
Or if you go as DEEP as my :bs You will have Mackey, Ralph, Brian, Dennis, Chris.... et al.. all covered...
Don't let anyone here stop you from throwing out those GREAT CHALLENGES! I just love it :cheers: when a great WORLD RENOWNED racer like yourself has the ***** to throw a CHALLENGE out like that to a "ROOKIE" like JM :blueangel:

I am NOT getting a Roll Bar. I'll get the boot...and if I want to race MORE, I'll go to another track and run there. Those match races sound interesting.
