Default Intake and Cam upgrade?

I currently have an 86' TPI that is bored .30 over with a SKAT 383 crank and SKAT rods, coated pistons, comp cam with 218 intake 224 exhaust, Z springs, vavle locks, 4 bolt mains, cast iron heads with valve job comp valves. I was thinking of swaping in a hotter cam and new intake anyone have any ideas I am also considering a supercharger after these upgrades so would I be better off waiting on the cam until I can afford the supercharger so they will work better together also I would like to know what some of your inputs are on whether I can make decent power without a supercharger maybe some other mods that will help.

Are you running stock iron heads??
What CR?
What is the LSA on that cam; in any case it sounds weak for a 383?
Stock intake now?
What exhaust?

With proper heads, cam, exhaust, intake, etc combo you should be able to build well into the 400chp range and run low 11s in the 1/4 mile.

YES... if you do a cam now for a N/A car. i would reccomend a new and custom ground cam to take FULL potential of whatever particular blower setup you will do... so if you are not doing a blower soon or have plenty of money to spend then do it, otherwise like most on an typical budget just do it once, and right by waiting.

for a supercharger plan on 8-12 grand at retail price. if you do a N/A Heads and cam package full exhaust and gears you will probably be satisfied.

On thing most after market blower apps. dont include it a throttle limiter for cold starts- like factory turbo diesel trucks have. because as some dont know... reving or racing a blown motor before it warms up properly will ruin a S/C or block/internals in a heartbeat...

I am running stock cast iron heads, stock intake, the LSA is 112.0, and my exhaust is all stock except for two muffler eliminator pipes.

I think i would rather go with the heads cam intake and gear upgrade it sounds like the better idea, do you have any suggestions for good combos. How are the stock aluminium heads found on L98 engines can they be made better and be found cheap, or am i better off buying a new set of custom heads
