Wires by distributor
I was installing the disrtibutor and found three wires coming from behind motor. I know two go to the distributor but what does the other go to? The thicker one I know is the battery, but which one is the tach, and then what is that third one. They all have the flat connectors.

The brown connector, Tach. The white connector, Battery. The third?, possibly the multi wire setup from the distributor, plugs into a matching fitting behind the intake manifold, above the transmission.

Tyler: the two distributor "single wires" are designed (Poka Yoke) such that you cannot plug them into the wrong location on the distributor. Examine the male plugs and the female holes and you should see this.
