Default comp test & leakdown results

i've noticed my GS is smoking under acceleration or just reving in nuetral. it looks like blue-black color. anyway today i ran a comp test and then a leakdown just to see what all 8 cylinders are doing. this is the first time i did it to this engine so i have nothing to compare it to.
how do these numbers look
(1> 210psi. 5 % leak)..... (2> 210psi. 5 % leak)
(3> 200psi. 6% leak)..... (4> 215psi. 4 % leak)
(5> 200psi. 5 %leak)..... (6> 215psi. 5 % leak)
(7> 205psi. 5 %leak)..... (8> 205psi. 3 % leak)

what would make it smoke so much, could it be the oil rings or valve seals. all the plugs were dry when i pulled them. no oil on them and they were all a light tan almost white color.
the motor is running strong accept the smoking
any ideas.

oh... the motor has @30,000 miles on it.
this is the short block i have with my lt4 heads and intake on it

If you are running teflon oil seals on the valve guides, I would suspect them first. A leaky intake gasket could also be an issue,.

thank you Pete, i never even thought about the intake.
the motor was already in the car running when i bought it so i dont know what seals are in them.
how do i check for the intake leaking. or should i just remove it and change the gaskets.

It may be tougher to diagnose an intake gasket than to change it. If you do pull the intake, there should be residue in the port that was leaking. Hopefully, it is only the intake gasket.

You might want to try the SEAFOAM trick and GM makes a spray can that you can shoot right in the PB vac hose. You might have a bunch of carbon and that might get rid of it! wro87

i just did the seafoam last weekend. i took the tb off and poured the seafoam in my little spraygun and sprayed all inside the intake really good then used a 3/8 fuel line and funnel to pour it in each intake port and let it sit for @ 30 min.
talk about smoke for ever!!!!!!!!
it smokes under load or full throttle
